Before any medicine is approved for sale and use in patients, it must successfully complete clinical trials. In individual phases, the efficacy and safety of the product are evaluated and the optimum dose is determined. Clinical trials also help us learn about new methods of treatment and prevention of diseases and their complications. Successful clinical trials are a driver of the advancement of pharmaceutical and medical sciences.
