Our site is involved in international clinical projects on new and innovative medicines and molecules. We have many years of experience in phase II, III and IV clinical studies in an outpatient setting.

CLINICAL TRIALS CURRENTLY RUN BY THE SITE
The Clinical Trial Site CLINSANTE in Toruń has been a part of several dozen projects in different therapeutic areas, such as psychiatry, neurology, dermatology, cardiology, pulmonology, geriatric psychiatry and internal diseases. As our site is developing, new investigators – urologists, diabetologists and general practitioners – have joined our team.
Every clinical trial in Toruń is a new challenge which gives us an opportunity to help patients participating in the trial. What we get is great satisfaction when we see the improvement in participant well-being and smiles on their faces.
Recruitment is underway!
At the Toruń CLINSANTE Clinical Research Center, we are currently recruiting patients for clinical trials in selected gastroenterological and psychiatric indications.
Heart failure
We invite individuals suffering from heart failure with impaired kidney function who have been hospitalized for heart failure within the last 6 months to contact us.
The study includes: consultations with a cardiologist, diagnostic tests, treatment with the investigational drug (provided free of charge), and reimbursement of travel expenses.
Hipercholesterolemia
We invite you to contact us if you are not achieving target lipid levels despite taking lipid-lowering medication, have previously suffered a heart attack or stroke, have blocked arteries, or are at high risk of cardiovascular disease (heart attack or stroke).
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
COPD, and particularly its exacerbations, affects lung function. When the lungs do not function properly, it places a strain on the heart. This, in turn, can increase the risk of serious cardiac events, such as heart attacks and heart failure. Smoking is an additional risk factor for some people with COPD, as it damages both the airways and the blood vessels.
This clinical trial aims to determine whether currently used COPD medications can help prevent serious cardiac events.
If you have been diagnosed with COPD, are between 40 and 80 years old, and are a current or former smoker, we invite you to contact us.
Alzheimer's disease
Alzheimer’s disease gradually affects a patient’s memory, thinking, and communication skills, and ultimately their ability to perform simple, everyday tasks.
This study involving an investigational drug aims to determine whether it can safely help adults with Alzheimer’s disease preserve their memory and thinking skills, as well as maintain their overall functional ability.
If you are between 60 and 85 years old and have Alzheimer’s disease, we invite you to contact us.
Major depressive episode
We are also recruiting participants for clinical trials concerning major depressive disorder.
We invite individuals who are currently under the care of a psychiatrist—or who have been treated for depression but have not experienced sufficient improvement with their current treatment—to contact us. Eligibility for participation is assessed on an individual basis in accordance with the criteria of the specific clinical trial protocol.

Major Depressive Episode
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), depression is a leading cause of disability and inability to work worldwide and the most common mental disorder. A dozen or so percent of the adult population will experience depression at some point in their lifetime.
DIABETOLOGY
Diabetes
Diabetes is a metabolic disease characterized by abnormal secretion or action of insulin, a hormone responsible for regulating blood sugar. If there is too little insulin in the body, body cells cannot use glucose properly, which leads to an increase in glucose blood level (hyperglycemia).
